To avoid Poseidon’s wrath, they travel to the land of the dead, then to the island of Aeolus, then to the island of the Laestrygonians, and finally to the island of Circe once again.

The third segment of Odysseus’s quest is his return to Ithaca. After leaving the island of Circe, Odysseus and his crew make their way back to Ithaca, where they are faced with the challenge of defeating the suitors of Penelope, Odysseus’s wife. After defeating the suitors, Odysseus is finally reunited with his family and is able to return home.

The fourth and final segment of Odysseus’s quest is his final victory. After returning home, Odysseus is faced with one final challenge: proving his identity to the people of Ithaca. After succeeding in this challenge, Odysseus is finally able to reclaim his rightful place as king of Ithaca.
