Barbara is Tiling Her Craft Room

Barbara has been planning for months to tile her craft room. She is finally ready to begin her project. Barbara has chosen a beautiful tile pattern and is excited to get started. She is confident that the finished product will be stunning.

Preparing for the Project

Preparing for the Project

Before Barbara began tiling, she needed to prepare her craft room for the project. This included removing all furniture and any other items from the room. She then sealed the walls with a primer to make sure the tile would adhere properly. Barbara also taped off any areas she didn’t want to tile, such as the edges of the room.

Laying the Tile

Once the room was prepped and ready, Barbara began to lay the tile. She started in the middle of the room and worked her way out. She used a level to make sure each tile was even and lined up correctly. Barbara also cut the tiles to size as she worked.

Grouting the Tile

Once the tile was all laid, Barbara began to grout. She mixed the grout according to the instructions on the package and applied it to the seams between the tiles. She then used a wet sponge to wipe off any excess grout. Barbara allowed the grout to dry overnight before applying a sealant.
